TERESA HARDEE,

Dr. Teresa Hardee brings over 20 years of accounting, auditing, budgeting, executive leadership and management experience. Dr. Hardee holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration (and a minor in Accounting) from Fayetteville State University, an MPA degree from North Carolina Central University, an EdD in Higher Education Management from the University of Pennsylvania and a certification from Harvard University’s Institute of Education Management (IEM). She has served as vice president and chief financial officer at two universities and was also senior vice president and chief operating officer at the university level. Dr. Hardee is a certified public accountant (CPA) and is Six Sigma Black Belt Certified.
Dr. Hardee's leadership has produced unprecedented improvements in financial and operational performance through business-processes management, risk management and leveraging technological advancements to ensure effective and efficient processes. She has had engagements at several universities leading to extraordinary financial and operational results. She has spent the last several years using data analytics to develop insights to enable organizations to achieve outcomes, including working on a major grant with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. She has written articles on higher education performance and has served on many higher education committees that influence policies and practices within the higher education and non-profit landscape.

MICHAEL BOONE,

Dr. Michael Boone is a Senior Consultant with i5o Consulting Services.
Mike has served in senior leadership positions in state government and higher education for over 30 years. He specializes in strategic planning, business process reengineering, performance measurement and management, and organizational design. For the last 8 years, Mike has worked in higher education as a Business Process Reengineering Director and headed up Distance Education and online programs. In addition, he has served as program director for Master of Public Administration programs at two universities and is currently an adjunct professor of Public Administration. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Wilmington, Delaware Head Start, Inc. He has degrees (B.S. and MBA) from East Carolina University and a PhD in Public Administration from NC State University. He is six sigma black belt trained and has had additional BPR training at Hammer and Company. He is also a certified performance management trainer.

Kellie Hardee is a technology governance, risk, and compliance leader with more than a decade of experience helping organizations strengthen governance, manage technology and cybersecurity risk, modernize internal controls, and navigate complex regulatory and compliance environments.
Her experience spans global technology organizations, financial services, healthcare, and professional services, including leadership and advisory roles with Bioventus, Red Hat, Cisco Systems, First Citizens Bank, and PwC. Throughout her career, Kellie has partnered with executives and cross-functional leaders across technology, cybersecurity, finance, legal, compliance, and internal audit to translate complex risks into practical business strategies.
Kellie brings particular expertise in technology governance, enterprise and technology risk management, cybersecurity governance, internal controls, regulatory readiness, third-party risk, policy development, and business process improvement. Her work has included designing and maturing enterprise GRC programs, advising leadership on risk and remediation strategies, and leading transformation initiatives that strengthened control environments and significantly reduced organizational risk exposure.
At i5o Consulting, Kellie leads Risk, Governance & Technology Advisory, helping higher education institutions, nonprofit organizations, and mission-driven businesses build practical governance structures, strengthen risk management, improve operational resilience, and responsibly navigate emerging technology and cybersecurity risks.
Kellie holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Lead Auditor, ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity, ISACA Cybersecurity Audit Certificate holder, and Six Sigma Green Belt.
NANCY COTTON

DATA MANAGER / IT
Nancy Cotton is a Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate in Database Development SQL 2016 with 10 plus years of experience in the IT industry with the last 7 working in Higher Education.
She specializes in database monitoring administration, data extraction using MySQL and TOAD software, website administration and SIS student administration software, PeopleSoft and Banner.
She is currently the Moodle LMS administrator for i5o, Green Belt Six Sigma.
